The Santa Ski is open to all ages and is free to participate. All you need is a Santa suit and either a season pass or a day pass to the ski mountain.
Don’t have a Season Pass? No worries, we have teamed up with CB Mountain Resort to provide an amazing deal – Ski for only $23 if you’re in a Santa Suit! That is over $80 off a regular priced ticket! To get the discount the Santa suit must have a top, bottom, hat and beard.
You can make your own suit, use an old one or purchase one from us. We wholesaled a ton to make it super easy to participate. They are only $30 and come with a beard, hat, jacket, pants and belt!

The event has two main parts – The Santa Group Ski & The Santa Pub Crawl.
The Group Ski is open to all ages and is free to participate. All you need is a Santa suit and either a season pass or a day pass to the ski mountain. Don’t have a Season Pass? Be a part of history! We have submitted the event to the Guinness Book of World Records and are eagerly waiting to hear back from them.
Guinness or not though, we are trying show the world just how awesome Crested Butte is by beating out other resorts that hold similar Santa events.
The Group Ski will begin at the Ice Bar midway up the mountain. Santas will begin gathering at 2:30 and then all ski down together at 3:30 PM. Be sure to come early so you don’t miss the departure.
The Ice Bar is also the first stop on the Santa Pub Crawl. The Santa Pub Crawl is an amazing deal and guarantees to be an awesome time. For only $35 you get a FREE Santa Suit and 5 FREE Drinks! Yep, you read the right – a FREE Santa Suit and 5 FREE Drinks! The suits are yours to keep forever!
Drinks will be available to participants starting at 2:30 at the Ice Bar, from there we will all ski together down to Butte 66 at the base area, have another drink and continue to historic downtown Crested Butte for the other stops along the crawl.

Decided not to participate in the Santa Ski or Santa Pub Crawl? No problem, but we have to warn you – you are going to wish you had! It is the most fun you can have on skis!
Some tips to have the best spectator day possible:
- Bring a camera and capture the fun. Santa ski pictures make great holiday cards.
- Feel free to buy drinks or food and support the restaurants that support the Santa Pub Crawl
- Sunscreen is always recommended
- Support your Santa! Check in with your Santa and see if they need help with anything!”

Volunteers are needed for just about everything from Ticket Sales, Registration, Event Day Help, Set Up, Take down and much more.

: I don’t drink. Can I just do the Santa Ski?
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to participate in the group Santa Ski, regardless of age, etc. The Santa Pub Crawl is a ton of fun, but separate and by no means obligatory. Come Ski with us!
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
We will no longer be offering refunds. Before registering, please be certain that you are comfortable making your entry fee a donation in the event that:
Your cousin decides to get married that weekend
You’re too hungover from the night before to pub crawl
You eat #$%& on the ice and get hurt
Cannot participate that weekend for any other reason
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE AN ID?
You can still ski with us! But when it comes to the pub crawl, sorry! By state law all participants have to have a valid ID, no exceptions.
